Leaded Stained Glass Windows Produced By My Student
January 4th, 2011

A student of mine from over 10 years ago recently reconnected with me and with a little help produced these beautiful windows in my studio! It was fun helping her to take her vision from the paper to the finished product. For her, the stained glass skills came back like riding a bike. That made me feel good as a teacher! The beautiful colored glass is Uroboro Art Glass and wide lead was used to represent reeds blowing in the wind. The detailed border at the bottom of the windows have glass nuggets and an agate slice in each window which really made them special. The windows were recently installed in a home in Colorado. Pictures don’t do them justice, but I love the beautiful painted light on the ceiling. Nice job Chris!
